  1. Target:        Frankreich 98(deutsch)

  3. Task:       Remove SecuRom protection scheme, without manipulating the
  4.         cms_95.dll.
  5.  
  6. Instuctions:    
  7.  
  8.         try to compare the instructions between the copied
  9.             cd and the orginal one. soon you'll discover the
  10.             main procedure from where all the checks starts.
  11.         at next try to find the procedure, that is responsible
  12.         for checking the cd-contents. this procedure is quite
  13.         big and too complicated to unterstand it all(which is
  14.         even not necessary, by the way), so just examine the
  15.         difference and you'll find the significant one. it's,
  16.         of course, a conditional jmp. so transform it to the    
  17.             right one.

  19. How to use:
  20.         copy the tc_frank98.exe and thecapitalist98.nfo in your
  21.         frankreich98 directory and start the crack. if it succeeds
  22.         you'll be able play the game. if not just mail and i'll    
  23.         fix it.

  27. Final Notes:
  28.             this crack does not have many controll procedures, so
  29.         if an error occurs, you might have to guess about the reasons,
  30.         why the crack failed. for example i did not implement a
  31.         version checking, only filesize!
